The Black Chronicle of Northwest Arkansas
Volume 1
This journal is devoted to the African American history of northwest Arkansas. The focus will be the African American presence in Crawford, Sebastian, Benton and Washington counties, in Arkansas. Published by historians, Tonia Holleman, and Angela Walton-Raji, this will include information about both black and white communities in the state's northwest corner, and will show in many cases how many of the people from both communities share a common history, from the earliest days of the state, to the present.
This publication will be of interest to all persons who have an interest in Northwest Arkansas history. The days from statehood onward will be reflected in the pages of the Chronicle.
